I do know that there are quite a few pieces here made by Doug Kidd of Border States Leatherworks. They both do nice work. Hard to recall what I acquired and when as I've owned so many McClellan saddles and equipment over the years, both originals and reproductions. The grouping consists of the following.Burgess Crupper Nose Bag Carbine Thimble M1859 Low Port Bit with Headstall ('A' Rosettes) One Piece Reins Brass Curb Chain Coat Straps (5) Halter with Lead & Link Strap Breast Strap (w/Brass Heart with Numeral'2') Charlie Childs Blanket Poncho (attached to the saddle). Please note that the girth needs a leather repair for one of the buckle attachments (refer to photo). A fair amount of the original black color dye has been worn down to the brown leather color in areas due to the extensive use of this saddle which has seen extensive'combat and campaign' use over the span of many, many years. The leather needs a thoroughly good cleaning and conditioning. In my opinion, the flaws nothwithstanding, this saddle simply makes a great authentic cavalry reenactor veteran impression. I have endeavored to describe this saddle and the related equipment as best I can. Please feel free to ask any and all of the questions you may have and. Carefully examine and review all of the photographs.
